Anyhow, here are the links to the driver update disks (DUD), RPMs and docs:
http://people.redhat.com/jcm/kmods/RHEL5.2/docs/
http://people.redhat.com/jcm/kmods/RHEL5.2/latest/

According to the comments, those DUD/RPMs might not update pci.ids and lspci may show unknown, but otherwise the reports are good.

Does this help? I am very interested in how well the Dell Optiplex 760 works because we may be ordering some.

I'll be trying it on Monday morning (GMT). Any progress (either way) and I'll post to the list.

I don't know about anyone else, but I've tried installing http://people.redhat.com/jcm/kmods/RHEL5.2/latest/RPMS/e1000e/
kmod-e1000e-PAE-0.3.3.3_k4-1.4.el5_2.i686.rpm (URL broken for readability)
and it hasn't work, unless I'm doing something wrong. The Dell 760 I have has 4GB of RAM in it. Other than install the RPM/module is there anything else I need to be doing? Manual rmmod, modprobe and insmod stuff too?

In addition every installation I've tried thus far seems to be unable to deal with the Dell 2009W monitor I have attached and/or the graphics card inside. More often than not after the RHGB the OS drops the screen to standby. Attempts at switching to another virtual desktop result in the box powering off. When I can get to a graphical login the OS refuses to display at 1680x1050 (the monitor's native resolution).

Thus far I'm not happy with RHEL5 on any recent Dell. The same thing happens with the 745 I have here, too (except the NIC works).
