To follow up on this thread... The Optiplex 760 I have in testing currently seems to cause nothing but headaches. Contrary to the reports, RHEL 5.3 does not seem to work out of the box because the NIC is not recognized by anaconda. As I am PXEing I know the NIC does work and is turned on ;-)

You might try Dell's web site as well.I think that any redhat bugzilla login will work.I'm logged in and get access denied ;-)Hmmm, I must have added myself as CC before it was restricted.Anyhow, here are the links to the driver update disks (DUD), RPMs and docs:http://people.redhat.com/jcm/kmods/RHEL5.2/docs/ http://people.redhat.com/jcm/kmods/RHEL5.2/latest/According to the comments, those DUD/RPMs might not update pci.ids and lspci may show unknown, but otherwise the reports are good.Does this help? I am very interested in how well the Dell Optiplex 760 works because we may be ordering some. Thanks, Jason _______________________________________________ rhelv5-list mailing list rhelv5-list@redhat.com https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/rhelv5-list
