Don't be angry with Slim Devices, take your concerns to Apple.  Apple
have never licensed their Fairplay (a misnomer if ever there was one)
DRM to anyone else.

Slim Devices, along with dozens/hundreds of other companies, have
wanted to support iTunes DRM for a long time now, but Apple won't let
them.

Now that Logitech has the reigns, they may actually have the clout to
get Apple to open it up.
