If you have scratched disks, use a CD scratch repair kit to improve the quality (and speed) of the rip. I've had good luck with the Maxell kit: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-355Vpkg4qru/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=15430&tab=morephotos&pi=1&i=170DVD335&display=L#Tab
Also, use the "-z" option with cdparanoia. This tells cdparanoia to not accept any skips and to retry forever to read a track. You'll know when you've hit an unreadable section that needs attention from the scratch repair kit. I've yet to find a CD that did not read successfully with "cdparanoia -z" after using the scratch repair kit. -- Ron Olsen ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ron Olsen's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9233 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=33042 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list ripping@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
