Just thought I would post an update... *Bought a Sony MZ-RH1 portable MD player. *Import audio (converting to WAV) on a PC (Intel Mac Mini) using SonicStage. *Convert to FLAC, and tag, using foobar2000.
The booboo is that so far I am only processing the MD containing music I had ripped from a CD. Most of it started life as LP's - and now ends up as one looong WAV file. I need to experiment to find the best workflow to handle them! A final word... The import process from the RH1 is very fast and smooth.
