The reason it takes that long its because you are using cdparanoia, its
verifying every bit of your rip so it makes digital perfect copies, I
suggest you keep it that way if you care about audio quality. If you
were ripping in a PC via EAC (Exact Audio Copy) which is the best pc
ripper it would also take that long.

But if you want speed and less quality, just use itunes...
