I am using ";" as a separator. I have the exact same album and set it up as follow:
ARTIST=Charlie Haden; Pat Metheny ARTISTSORT= Haden, Charlie; Metheny, Pat I don't use ALBUMARTIST. The sort is very predictable: the album appears under Charlie Haden under the letter "H" and also under Pat Metheny under the letter "M". This is in my opinion the best behavior. I would not want having a separate artist entry such as "Charlie haden and Pat Metheny". When the song is played, both artist will be displayed such as : "Waltz for Ruth par Charlie Haden, Pat Metheny de Beyond the Missouri Sky (Short Stories)" It seems the behavior changed a bit with SqueezeCenter. It used to display "artist 1 & artist 2" or "artist 1, artist 2 & artist 3" (always using '&' as the last separator and ',' for the others). Now it only uses ','.
