No offense to SuperQ, but I'd like to strangle that guide's author, on account of the following: -Artist:- Ludwig van Beethoven -Album title:- Symphony No. 9 in D minor (Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra feat. conductor: Herbert von Karajan) -Track titles:- *Symphony No. 9 in D minor, Op. 125:* I. Allegro ma non troppo, un poco maestoso *Symphony No. 9 in D minor, Op. 125:* II. Molto vivace That redundancy in track titles makes unwieldy file names in EAC, and it sucks having to hand-edit every stinking track to avoid being stuck with 1000 character filenames. Even if I didn't have filename = track name, the gigantic tracknames are also annoying in foobar. Sorry, pet peeve. I prefer minimalist tagging: Artist: Beethoven (there's only one!) Album: 9th Symphony - Karajan Track: 1. Allegro ma non troppo, etc. (Pondering how to retag my collection while waiting for my Duet) -- Taxcheat ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Taxcheat's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=15212 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=43851 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
