I opened the two files you sent me after converting them from FLAC to AIFF. i did this so I could pull them into one of my DAWs and look at the Dolby metadata. According to the metadata, they are 5.1 files and I'm not sure why your receiver isn't giving you the full 5.1, but playing the stereo downmix instead. I will confirm this when I get home and try to play your files on my 5.1 receiver, which I know works.
