I have a collection of about 9000 audio files. No matter what program I use it takes quite a long time to load the files and be able to edit their tags. I have tried Tag&Rename, MP3Tag and many others. I load up any of these apps and I need to walk away for several minutes before I can start mucking about with my files. Individual directories load fast, but if I want to go through my entire collection to tweak file names, genres etc.... it's a real pain in the butt.
Seems to me the time it's taking me to mess about with tagging I could be putting a cd in my transport and listening to music instead.
