I use Tag&Rename. I -never- point it at the root directory of my library, with 16,000+ tracks it would take too long.
Instead I expand the network share (note, dont click on it, expand it in the folder view on the left), expand the FLAC directory, scroll to the artist i want and either expand that then select the album, or I select the artist and get T&G to index all the albums of that artist.
