I've had this re-occuring problem with SlimCenter/SlimServer for years
and it's has just cropped up again so I'd see if anyone could help me
get to the bottom of it.

The problem only occurs with MP3 tags, and not flac/orbis tags.

Currently SlimCenter is seeing some files with genre tagged as
Miscellaneous, whereas any other program I open it with (however
configured) sees only the "correct" genre, Audio Book (this includes
MP3Tag, Foobar2000, Winamp, MusicIP)

My experience tells me that I can only cure this by using MP3Tag to
completely delete all the tags in my files and recreate them..... and
even if I do this, next time I let anything write a tag to the files
I'll have to do the same thing all over again (this time the problem
was caused by MusicIP re-writing the tags to my files).

Ideally I'd like to view the files in a program that will definitively
show me every single tag written into the files, reliably and without
screwing around with lots of configuration. Does anyone know of one?

PS. This is one of the oddest and longest running problems I have ever
had.

BTW. I delete my SlimCenter cache when I rescan, so it's not that
SlimCenter is holding a record or anything.
