Thanks again guys for your expertise!  Based upon your overwhelming
expert advice, I purchased the dBpoweramp Reference R14 Family Pack
($56 US).  Thanks Garym for pointing out that this version has
Non-Expiring PerfectMeta (CD Metadata Access).  I think what annoyed
the most was that I thought I'd have to pay an annual renewal fee, but
I was wrong.  So I am OK with it now.

I bought the Family Pack because, unlike the almost 22,000
non-classical .WAV titles I already had that dBpoweramp batch converted
for me with its trial version, I still have almost 2,000 Classical CD
Titles (a good number of them multi-CD sets) that I have not ripped
that I would like to create FLAC files (let alone tag!) before they
produce CD rot.  I'm not looking forward to starting that project. 
Guess I have to see what dBpoweramp's batch ripper is all about.
