So if your metadata is completely messed up it won't be able to find a
matching musicbrainz id ?
The advantage of using PUID's would be that it works even if the
metadata (ALBUM, TITLE) is incorrect or doesn't match the musicbrainz
album/track name.
Maybe reading the PUID tag written by genpuid and use that when doing
the lookup from musicbrainz to get the musicbrainz id.
