Correct, doing it in the core code should be fairly trivial, doing it
as a third party plugin should also be possible in 7.6, but maybe not
trivial.
Either way, it's a lot easier than in 7.5 because in 7.6 you only need
to implement it once and still gets support in all interfaces.
Based on the history, I doubt Logitech is going to do anything like
this in the core code, their focus has rarely been on improving
classical/jazz music browsing except for a short time during a month or
two when they worked actively on the new schema which we all know is
never going to happen.
