yes, all my mp3 files play gapless on SB players (and on ipods).  My
mp3 files were ripped with LAME.  Make sure you don't have crossfade
turned on in SB settings.  Also, why are you ripping to mp3 for home
use. Why not lossless (FLAC). I recommend dbpoweramp for this. But EAC
is another popular option....
