Now that's interesting - that would be different in the case of a cue sheet. In fact it's the opposite (before my suggested fix above). If there's no Album Artist, then even if all the track artists are different, it will not be picked up as a compilation. But add an Album Artist and it will be. My suggested fix would mean that a single differing artist, anywhere, would cause it to be classified as a compilation. I guess that wouldn't suit you! So in your opinion, at what point should an 'automatic compilation detector' decide that it is a compilation? I've seen lots and lots of code within the various modules that tries to decide when it's a compilation, so it's clearly a thorny issue. That code seems to kick in only when the compilation flag is not set by the user.
