I have had great success with the M-Audio Delta series of PCI cards, I 
know that's not what you asked about but if you have a PCI slot I would 
urge you to consider them, they come from 2 to 8 analog balanced I/O's 
most have  S/PDIF also.

The Echo Cards are well liked amongst the DAW community, though I cannot 
speak to thier Linux compatability or use with RD.
