The ADA8000's sound really good, the gain pots do wear out if used a lot but in most cases you set those and rarely change them. I've used that setup for live sound and recording. I actually would be curious how they work in a broadcast environment. With Rivendell's soundcard switcher commands, it would make a cool switcher/recording in/playout all in one solution.
