I am trying to get anything that will pick up a stream installed in an appliance box with the idea that if the stream goes off for any reason I can log into the box and switch on a local fill in programme until we get the stream back.
I thought it would be easy. VLC is not there for Centos 5 64 bit and there a bunch of dependencies that conflict. What's the recommended method to grab a stream and route it to the output. I may be tired and missing something obvious.
