I saw you already got a lot of responses but I figured I would chime in. To do 
_exactly_ what you are asking for you still need a local X server. This has 
been accomplished for years with a product called xwin32 from starnet. 
http://www.starnet.com/products/xwin32/ Unfortunately it's not cheap. It is 
however the best solution for having remotely executed apps exported to your 
windows box for local use. TightVNC has already been mentioned and that's free, 
and works wonderfully if you don't mind having the whole desktop sent to you 
instead of application specific details (which can be faster of course).
