Before we setup our own server I wanted to make sure there would be enough interest to justify the licensing fees. Consequently we are using a third party setup so we have to authenticate against their server. What I did was to setup the accelerator planID and then in that I put in a shell account and we use the shell account username and password to hold the authentication data. We don't sell shells so its no issue and its working fine. It's a kludge but its not the worst one we've ever had to deal with.
