Mike,
This is actually quite simple. Simply create a new Item Format with the
follwing:
Name: AccelerationID
Type: Null Terminated String
Description: Acceleration Identification
Charset:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]([\.]+[a-zA-Z0-9\-]+
)*[a-zA-Z0-9]
Error Msg: Acceleration ID must contain only letters ( A-Z,a-z), numbers
(0-9), 'at' sign (@), undersore (_) and/or dash (-)
Next Create a New Detail Item:
Unique: Yes
Searchable: Yes
Keyword: AccelerationID
Label: Acceleration ID
Description: Acceleration Identification
Format: AccelerationID
Show ON and Edit On as per your requirements.
Length from: 0 to 255
HTML Help: HELP DESCRIPTION
Example: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Visual Format: Text box
Finally create a new Plan Detail and under Item add both the
AccelerationID and Password Detail.
This Plan Detail can now be added to existing Plans or sold in a
separate Plan which can be added to the Customer Account. In addition
you could look at Integrating this with the Third-Party Authentication
server.

Subject: [Rodopi] Plan setup help
We are going with XL Accelerator which is actually a branded name for
the Artera Accelerator. We setup the user on THEIR authentication
server using an email address and password. When the customer installs
the accelerator it goes out to their server for authentication. The
only thing I need on my end is a Rodopi PlanID to bill the customer for
the service and I wanted a place in the PlanID where we could enter the
email address and password that was used for the signup so that we have
that information if/when we need to turn off that service.
Regards,
Mike Herrera
