Heh.. because another version has already been posted, and a reasonable fix for it has been posted. It's 15 lines of perl. Nearly anyone on this list could have written it or something similar. I just like to have all the cards on the table. I don't feel secure because most people don't know how to exploit a limitation in my MUD. There are always going to be people that know how it works. It's better to get the problem out in the open and try to address it than to cover it up and have somebody hit by a DOS every once in a while and not know what's going on. --Palrich.
