El zice ca i le-au schimbat:

indeed murdered in Nazi death camps. "I am not a Holocaust denier. My views have 
changed," he said outside court. "History is a constantly growing tree: the more 
you learn, the more documents are available, the more you learn, and I have 
learned a lot since 1989. "Yes, there were gas chambers," Mr Irving added. 
"Millions of Jews died, there is no question. I don’t know the figures. I’m not 
an expert on the Holocaust."

Who knows?  Le va da cu siguranta un binemeritat timp 
de gandire (eventual si de razgandire, vezi cazul lui 
Irving).

Spuneti ca legea este inutila si ineficace in cazul 
lui Irving, dar este mai mult decat necesara in cazul promovarii 
antisemitismului si a oricarei forme de rasism.  Cred ca va contraziceti -- 
cititi concluziile judecatorului Charles Gray:
 
"Irving is 
anti-Semitic. His words are directed against Jews, either individually or 
collectively, in the sense that they are by turn hostile, critical, offensive 
and derisory in their references to Semitic people, their characteristics and 
appearances ... Irving has made claims that the Jews deserve to be disliked; 
that they brought the Holocaust on themselves. He speaks regularly at political 
or quasi-political meetings in Germany, the United States, Canada and the New 
World. The content of his speeches and interviews often displays a distinctly 
pro-Nazi and anti-Jewish bias. He makes surprising and often unfounded 
assertions about the Nazi regime which tend to exonerate the Nazis for the 
appalling atrocities which they inflicted on the Jews. He is content to mix with 
neo-facists and appears to share many of their racist and anti-Semitic 
prejudices.
The 
charges which I have found to be substantially true include the charges that 
Irving has for his own ideological reasons persistently and deliberately 
misrepresented and manipulated historical evidence; that for the same reasons he 
has portrayed Hitler in an unwarrantedly favourable light, principally in 
relation to his attitude towards and responsibility for the treatment of the 
Jews; that he is an active Holocaust denier; that he is anti-Semitic and racist 
and that he associates with right-wing extremists who promote neo-Nazism."
Deci, conform celor spuse de dvs., legea este mai mult 
decat necesara in cazul lui Irving, dovedit antisemit si 
rasist.

de a-i ridiculiza si "desfiinta" atunci cand astfel de 
indivizi au pretentia ca sunt istorici seriosi. Numai astfel le putem 
distruge pretinsa autoritate de specialisti in domeniu.
Foarte corect.  Irving a reusit singur chestia 
asta.  S-a ridiculizat si auto-desfiintat o data cu pierderea 
procesului de calomnie intentat lui Deborah Lipstadt, "a High Court libel trial 
that demolished his reputation as a historical researcher".  Din pacate 
sentinta recenta l-a readus in atentia publicului.  "Irving was virtually 
forgotten before this trial came up and it's simply drawing unjustified 
attention to a discredited figure."  (Richard J Evans, the Cambridge 
history professor whose forensic demolition of Irving's research was key to that 
defeat).
Cel mai bine a spus-o 
Deborah Lipstadt: "The one thing he deserves, he really deserves, is 
obscurity.”

Vali
