It looks like all it's really good for is bigger address space for RAM.  Is 
that about the size of it?

When I say "not yet" I mean on the order of years probably.  I just bought the 
64-bit processor because it was the fastest mobo/CPU I could afford, and it 
happened to be 64-bit.  My bleeding edge pioneering days are long behind me 
mon ami, long behind me.
