Yes. There's practically no performance gain (I checked - same compile 
times for RG on an MDK64 and a normal "32 bits" one). but plenty of 
missing stuff (for instance mplayer won't work because when compiled in 
64bits it can't use the win32 codecs).

That's the exact same reason I got one myself (plus it's dual core, 
(scons|make) -j2 rocks).
