The only one trying to push a square peg in a round hole is you, Guillaume. Rosegarden sincerely appreciates your past contributions, and your name will live forever in this project's history, but it is obvious that you are no longer interested in contributing to the Rosegarden project. Take all the GPL code you like, and do whatever you like as the head of your own spinoff project, but you have absolutely no right whatsoever to bestow the venerable Rosegarden name upon this new bastard project of yours. None whatsoever. If you no longer wish to contribute to Rosegarden, then I think it may be time for you to move on with your life, and amuse yourself somewhere else. Rosegarden will miss the contributions you could have made, but we will persist perfectly well in your absence. -- D.
