autoconf ? what's that for ? :-)

OK, seriously, as I said this isn't the place for an OS/X vs. Linux
flamewar. What you're saying is that the Mac sucks as an X11
development platform, I think I can live with that :-). You're also
apparently expecting OS X to be Linux (i.e. you have to, or very much
want to, use X11 apps only). I don't.

A couple of points where you are totally wrong, though :

On OS X ? Two questions :

- please name one of such "great OS X X11-based app".

- what's the color of the sky on your planet ? 'Cause yours certainly
isn't the same one as the OS X free software community, and since
interplanetary Internet doesn't exist yet and I can download their
stuff fine, they are earthlings.

Yeah, that's one peculiar thing that still puzzles me. As ludicrous as
it seemed to me, I figured I could live with it.

Then again, don't most security check scripts on Linux run such
permission checks ? I had that on Mandrake/Mandriva long ago.

Actually, Apple takes its sweet time to provide up to date Java
releases, so that's one point where OS X actually sucks :-).

That one actually had me ROTFL. :-) Kids, let that be a lesson to
you : don't drink and mail.

The only sane words of your message :-).
