Then again, I don't really have the ass to pull it off either, whereas you do. I would have forked for entirely different reasons anyway, sacrificing sequencing and audio in favor of making things easier on the notation side. I had in mind sort of a parallel, file-compatible offshoot that was purely notation driven. I quite understand why Werner decided to split the notation out of MusE. In the end, however, I managed to find a compromise position that let me do what I wanted without turning the world completely upside down. Oh, and since it's pretty much official, somebody really needs to do whatever is necessary to get me on board as an admin for the mailing lists, so I can approve posts and whatnot. We only have one list admin now, and he sometimes goes for weeks without touching a computer, it seems. -- D.
