I remember something about the discussion, but I can't find it.

I can't find any references to qint64 (or qint32) or quint64 and so on in the 
code either.  Or any sizeof\(.*int\) for that matter, except for something in 
MappedEvent it looks like Rich commented out 80,000 years ago, and some 
SEQUENCER_DATABLOCK stuff.  I'm stumped trying to figure out what this is all 
about.

Anyway, I think we want to use MAX_INT for this kind of thing, though I've had 
a surprisingly hard time confirming that with Google.
