I'm starting on the Notation Editor. First I would like to suggest something
which I use in my Java programs. When the user closes the dialog, the
program remembers in the registry the size of the dialog window. The next
time the user opens the dialog, it returns to the last size used. In my
experience this is quite useful.

OK, to work. The trash bin for Remove All Marks is very nice indeed. It
couldn't be more intuitive than that! Next I tried Add Accent. It works, but
has a problem. The original is

Afterwards it will miss the first note. I was very confused until I figured
out what was happening. What is even stranger is that it is only a display
problem. The first note is there, but is invisible. If you click on the
staff, it will usually reappear.

Many of the other Marks Toolbar features show the same problem. Other than
that I checked all of the icons and all of them seem to be working properly.

I'll probably have to figure out how to send you the file, but on bar 2 I
wanted to Beam group the first 2 notes. For some reason it won't color blue
the first note. You can see that it did the beam correctly. Then strangely
when I unbeamed and unselected, the first note stayed blue, even though it
should now be black.

I won't go past this for today, mainly because I need to know if the
information is useful, or I'm just bombarding you with details. Steer me in
the right direction and I'll try to help.
