It's possible. The way this works is the two edit views share this through EditViewBase. Calling File -> Save from either emits saveFile() which is caught by the main window, which eventually makes a call to the Document, where the actual save operation occurs. There are a couple of different ways to approach getting the save dialog to pop up over the correct parent. Principally, we need to determine who that parent is, and relay that information to the Document. One approach or the other would surely work, but I just don't think it's worth it. I'm not even going to write out all my thoughts about what approaches we could take. I call it very possible, but really not worth an afternoon of plinking around. I went ahead and just disabled the offending progress dialog completely. That's all I have before I'd be comfortable shooting out a release right quick. I'm willing to ignore the handful of strings yet to be translated in the few other languages that were mostly caught up. We'll just try to get all of that up to date before the next feature release. Testing wise, we never get testing anyway, so there's not much point in having a lot of drama over a release. -- D.
