Seems that it only PLANS to be a replacement. On Suse-Leap the package manager 
very nicely installs everything you want with 'pipewire' in it but that also 
means that Pulse audio has to be deleted but with that the PAVU control panel 
is NOT replaced by any equal or superior Pipewire version. That is, the Pulse 
panel is still there but it's all ghosted and doesn't do anything.
