Don't know if it's related, but around the same time it stops replying, incoming email users also get:
Subject: Message not recorded Permission Denied When trying to reply... Nothing of interest in the logs at all as far as I can tell. Messages look usual. I've put the entire log here: http://www.timco.aero/rt.messages momentarily for perusal. We'll pay for help resolving this if it's necessary (and reasonable ;) ).
