Hi Nidhi, The CIC's past cause list cannot be accessed on the net. As per my recollection there were 2 cases of some IPS(retd) officer versus CPIO Ministry of Sports/Youth Welfare before IC(PB) on 20/02/2008(or 19/02/2008) and which were filed on 18/01/2008 (<-- as per the cause list)
Coming back to Manoj point's about IC(OPK). It is shocking that a parallel Information Commission is being run from JNU Campus. Letters sent to "this" Commission are not sent to "that" Commission and vice-versa. When there is more than enough space at August Kranti Bhawan to accomodate the 5 new ICs being appointed (along with their staff) I am unable to understand why we have 2 such parallel Commissions. In any case what will they all do when the CIC's spanking new complex - the sole Institutional plot in J-Zone (as per Master Plan of Delhi) in Reserved Ridge forest allocated to them by Ministry of Urban Development (quid pro quo?) - comes up- and they are forced to live together? Finally, I hope somebody conveys to Mr.Habibullah (since Sackhim is defunct), that IC(OPK's) causelist is not being published on CIC's official website and that he is deciding matters in secret (He heard 12 cases yesterday - all unlisted - and these orders will not be published on the CIC website either).
