I am trying to find out the distance from the top off the rail to the
vertical clearance point in S scale, (to prevent S scale equipment hitting
the overbridge!).

The NASG web site doesn't give that standard, but looking at the NMRA site,
they show Standard S7 for clearance and give the vertical distance (H) as
41/8", (105mm).

Are the NASG standards the same as the NMRA for clearances? If not, what are
they? I also appreciate that the NMRA clearance diagram tapers in at the
top, as per the AAR Plate diagrams.

Thanks in anticipation
