Chile does have broad gauge as well as meter gauge lines but I doubt if the SDs were purchased for them. Incidentally there was a "Tracks Ahead" (PBS) show on Chile and a tape can be purchased at: http://www.mptv.org/tracks_ahead/boutique/Trax_series3.htm I didn't know they had 'Little Joe" Electric locos too!
