Well, according to my recollection, that is perhaps not entirely accurate.
Keith asked for ideas for S scale kits from people on this and on the S
trains list 
some time ago. As I also recall (or, as I think I recall; memory at my age
is unreliable) Keith also said that he had received lots of ideas for new S
kits. I don't know, maybe he made what he liked and ignored the ideas,
although that would not make a whole lot of sense for a person in
manufacturing and sales, as opposed to, say, politics.
Maybe Keith himself can verify one way or the other.
