I'm ashamed to admit this again... but I DO have a "layout" area. (Note
embarrassed expression on yours truly.)
My computer/hobby room has a 24" shelf running around it, complete with a
fold down bridge for the doorway. Homasote is in (99% anyway). It was
operational as a 3R layout for a while before converting to S scale. All I
need to do is finalize a bit of trackplanning and a few odds and ends, and I
could spike down some of the dozens of flex track and some of the switches I
already have on hand.
Silly me.
