A few years ago, our local NMRA Division chartered a couple of buses and
did a field trip into Louisiana for a several hour trip. The bus was
equiped with a VCR/TV setup. One of the members, who 'apparently' had
very little ability and/or time to build a layout showed a video of a
lyout he was having built for himself. I builder sent the video to
describe all the features of the layout. It was rather nicely built and
contained a couple of automatic 'gee wiz' features--one of them being a
house on fire! Although most of us would rather build our own, the
custom built layout might be the ticket for the guys who don't want to
get dirty! not that I'm suggesting that Andre is that kinda guy!
