Hi Tim, I've built a couple of Lionel O-27 cars with S scale
trucks, they do make pretty decent models, I plan to do more of them
if I ever get a layout built. The problem using flyer wheels would be
that you'd probably have to raise the car body up higher to clear the
flanges or maybe cut recesses in the car floor for clearance? (I've
never actually measured flyer wheels but I'm guessing they are
larger diameter overall?) here's links to photos...dave
