Not being a passenger car person, I would think that the main problem, besides
all the different window patterns, would be the different lengths, any hand
grabs, door patterns, side designs and probablby a whole lot more I would not
know about.
This something that NO 2 people in S could EVER agreed upon on this list.
American Models offered to build full scale length car sets a couple of years
back as long as it got I THINK 100 orders. Noboby in S could agree on the deign
so it died as usual.
I would think (probably getting into trouble here), if the length itself JUST
for a coach was the same for all the railroads, if MIGHT be possible to offer a
flat kit, IF it were possible that the ends and roofs were SEMI the same, then
it MIGHT be cost effective to make just one set of molds for those parts and
the different molds for ALL the different window patterns that would be
required.
The problem is all the different variables.
This was why 100% of the passenger car companies in the US are GONE!!!!
Or prove me wrong!!

PAssenger Cars

Whatever became of the discussions last year about having car sides that
decently replicated the Pullman-Standard and Budd corrugated passenger cars, in
several patterns? One of the patterns was replicated by the Chester cars of
early years, albeit crude by today's standards. This included the possible
add-on car side panels, such as Pullman-Standard after WWII. DJE[Non-text
