Jamie nailed that one correctly. Not only was it a
specifically western set that AM proposed, but IIRC it
included not one but THREE dome cars.
Of course HO has had full length cars of both smooth
side Budd configuration for some time. Most have a
prototype, some pretty obscure, but the cars were
offered in various lettering schemes some of which
were not even close. This might not fly today, but
most of these cars are still offered and presumably
bought.
The big killer, that apparently also prevents AM from
re-issuing the smooth-side GN cars in his line, is the
fact they won't take flyer curves.
