Hi Earl --

Believe it or not, the screws are probably metric.  The taper on a metric 
philips is slightly different.   Go to your local R/C car shop and they 
should have some.   You would be surprised at how much easier it makes 
things!   If they don't have them, there are several sources that they can 
get them from including Tamiya, Wiha, and others.

This is not too exciting but I have been putting scale couplers on my
freight cars. I love the SHS #01295 KD style couplers. They look great and 
are so
easy to apply to the SHS freight cars. And its so quick. I have run into a
batch of L&N boxcars that I have been unable to loosen the screws that
attach the trucks. But I am sure I can do it when I find the right Phillips 
style
screwdriver.
