Hi Earl -- Believe it or not, the screws are probably metric. The taper on a metric philips is slightly different. Go to your local R/C car shop and they should have some. You would be surprised at how much easier it makes things! If they don't have them, there are several sources that they can get them from including Tamiya, Wiha, and others. Have fun!
