Hi Earl;

I have 802s on my AM RS3s, and recently used SHS with the "Close Coupler"
bracket on my AM Trainmaster. There may be differences depending on the age of
the particular AM model, most of mine are set up for a large center screw
(Kadee No 5 or AM "Snap-Lok" coupler) and need holes drilled to accommodate
either the 802 or SHS couplers.

cars but there
definitely is a problem applying them to the AM cars.

Any tips anyone on applying SHS or Kadee scale couplers to AM locos like the
RS3, FP7, FAs, or E8s?

Earl,

I just did a few, but gave up on the SHS product, and used Kadee 808's in
the rust color.
