Bill:

Did your SW-1 come with DCC harness and speaker installed? If that is
the case, then all you need to do is plug in your favorite sound
decoder such as a Loksound or Tsunami Diesel (presently vaporware)
with the correct harness.

If you want more adventure, Michael Greene wrote an excellent article
about installing a Lenz motor decoder, Soundtraxx DSX decoder and
speaker in this loco. It was posted on the S-Helper site but I just
did a quick check and I could not find it.

I followed his suggestions and it worked like a charm, though there
was not a whole lot of space for everything. Hopefully someone on the
list can find the correct link.

BTW, my personal opinion (and not a reflection on the product) is that
before putting the engine in service, you may want to check the wheel
gauge and clean out the factory lubricant and replace with the
AeroLube lubricants carried by S-Helper.

Congrats on your new engine, it is an excellent product and will give
years of great service.
