I think that's why Sam is asking us.  He knows what the dimensions are
and he knows that if we find the dimensions ourselves we'll learn that
the #802 is pretty darn close (+10%).  When you can't tell people
things and have them believe you, you have to resort to tactics of
getting them to convince themselves.

In my response to Sam this morning, I expressed a desire to see the
Kadee #58 blown up to S scale proportions: the draft gear design, the
knuckle details, and the fact that it's made out of metal.  

In some ways I'm sorry to have ruffled everyone's feathers.  We might
get a coupler out of it, but it's clear (yet again) that you can't
make everyone happy.  I feel sorry for Sam Clarke today in that regard.

In the meantime, I'm going to order some couplers and play with my
boxcars...  :-)
