In the November Model Railroader there is an article about George Sellios' Franklin & South Manchester. It mentions that he previously set out to achieve "the maximum detail possible," but now he is removing detail to get to "the right amount of detail." Imagine that.
BTW, I'm not sure anybody mentioned the fact that this issue contains a feature length article written by Ed Loizeaux with photos by Greg Reiter. Among other things, this article describes how Ed compiled the needed equipment to model a specific train in S. Ed makes it sound very "doable," which I think is a great inclusion in the article. -Michael Eldridge -currently working on some custom decal artwork --- In [email protected], Richard Karnes <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Having recently completed a few major scenes on my layout, I have taken to detailing them with various cans, bins, tires, and other detritus.
